Test Tools

Within our test services projects, Epicentre utilises an extensive range of ‘best of breed’ test tools, both commercial and open source, available in the marketplace.
 
Our tool experts have extensive experience across most open source and commercial test tools available in the UK marketplace and will use any appropriate tools that are already licensed by the client. In addition, we will use, or recommend for use, the most appropriate tools for the test tasks involved.
 
These tools may be commercial or open source; where an open source product is recommended we will allocate some ‘customisation time’, during which we build interfaces and customise the tool to your application under test. Where a commercial test tool is recommended there are additional licensing costs that have to be considered by the client.
 
Our engineers have a deep knowledge of testing and are extensively trained in a number of the testing disciplines.
 
Epicentre technical staff have extensive practical experience of a number of tools related to effective testing, including: WinRunner, Rational Robot, QTP, SilkTest, Loadrunner, E-Load, JMeter, OpenSTA, PureCoverage, WAPT, JCover, JUnit, CVS, VSS, GNATS, Bugzilla and TestDirector.
