Service Desk

Q. What types of support do you offer?

A. We offer support for websites, learning portals and applications, whether designed and produced by you or by our sister company Epic.

Our support types range from basic end-user support to administration and maintenance. We can provide support for functional queries, issues with logging in, bulk uploads of users to your site and maintenance of your content.

We can support your audience with the installation of your applications, registration processes and problems with third party plug-ins. Our support also extends to the creation and maintenance of FAQs for your website or application.

Q. How is support provided?

A. We have an experienced team of support representatives that are contactable either by phone or via email. A dedicated phone line and email address will be created for your product to ensure full continuity between your content and our support.

Q. When is support provided?

A. We work within standard office hours (9am to 5pm). We can also provide support out of hours if you require it, with an additional on-call service until 8pm. Extra support can also be provided between 9am and 1pm on Saturdays to accommodate any urgent queries.

Q. How is support prioritised?

A. Your project will be given a dedicated representative - the first point of call for your audience. We agree a scale that your employees and our representatives use to prioritise each issue on an individual basis. We will also work with you to define a service level agreement to provide your products with the most effective support.

The Service Desk follows the ITIL process in conjunction with ISO 9001:2008 to ensure quality assurance is always fully met.

Q. How can I arrange support?

A. To arrange for a quote or to discuss the support you require, please contact us today.

Testing

Q. What types of testing do you offer?

A. We offer the full range of testing services: manual testing of content, functionality, compatibility, accessibility and interoperability. We’re also able to provide testing for mobile handset technology, including the latest Apple and Android handsets.

Our testing also extends to automated testing, using a wide variety of the most powerful open source and commercial automation tools.

Q. How do you understand my requirements?

A. We work with you to analyse the technologies and testing types required for your product. You define the operating systems, browsers, plug-ins and accompanying software to create the environments your applications and sites are expected to be used in. We recreate these environments and ensure the peace of mind you need to be confident your product will succeed in the real world.

Automation

Q. What is automated testing?

A. Automated testing is the most efficient, reliable and expandable way of testing.

Automation uses a scientific approach, identifying weaknesses and strengths; testing not only for what you’re looking for, but also what you didn’t know you needed to look for.

Automation starts with a baseline and can be scaled to as small or as large a test as you need. It can simulate ‘What if’ situations, performing the same tests every time, whilst continually adapting to the changes you make. Automation allows for repeated, regular regression testing. It takes out the ‘think time’, allowing you to test more in less time.

Q. What automation services do you offer?

A. What automation services do you require?

Automated testing offers a more flexible, reliable and consistent set of results than manual testing, as the same test can be applied to your site or software again and again, even after you’ve made drastic changes.

We can simulate real world scenarios or the most unlikely situations to ensure your software, site or infrastructure will stand up to the conditions it will be put through by your audience.

Q. What types of automation testing are available?

A. Using the latest tools, we can provide stress testing to push your site or software to its limits and load and performance testing to examine how your products behaves when usage exceeds normal levels.

Q. What automation tools do you use?

A. We use a range of both open source and commercial products to ensure the fullest range of test practices are covered.
