Music Technology Ltd. are a Kent-based software company focused on producing recommendation-based applications and mobile apps for specific targeted markets. They had produced a bespoke app that communicated between desktop or laptop computers and modern smartphones or iOS devices.
The app interacts with a user’s iTunes music library and constructs playlists based on recognised tracks, simultaneously identifying gaps in a user’s collection and providing a link to a purchasing option. This playlist could then be pushed to a user’s mobile device for listening to on the move.
Epicentre were invited to provide a quotation for Functionality, Compatibility and Content testing across a range of home computers (Windows and Mac) and mobile (Android and iOS) platforms. Both the quote and the initial phase of testing had to be turned around very rapidly; the same day and the next day respectively.
